Godzilla, King Kong and Rodan are going to want to start stocking up on thermal camouflage and acid-shielding; Bandai's S.H. MonsterArts action figure line will be joined by both Aliens and Predators in 2014.

Displayed at the Bluefin Distribution booth during SDCC last week were two roughly 6" tall takes on the classic Alien Xenomorph and, well, the Predator from... Predator. No accessories were shown with the toys, but it's easy to imagine extra hands, weapons and a masked head being packed with the Predator figure. The Xenomorph figure seems like a prime candidate for acid-spitting effect parts, extra hands, a face accessory for its mouth-inside-a-mouth, a chestburster and a facehugger. This is all speculation, but given the robust attention to detail in the Figuarts and MonsterArts lines (and typical $30-80 price tags, depending on figure size and production scales), it's not far-fetched to anticipate. Given that the two toys are billed as part of an AvP series, it's also not too hard to imagine more characters from their shared universe joining the MonsterArts line down the road.
