ComicsAlliance Week-in-Review: April 28

It's a big weekend in the wonderful world of comics, as Saturday, May 5 is Free Comic Book Day. You can find your nearest participating comic book shop here, and, if you need any suggestions for what to pick up, Chris Sims has a few here. And, because it's a weekend during convention season, there's also a big comic book convention this weekend, the Toronto Comics Art Festival, for which we've got a guide right here.

Oh, and I think there might be a movie of some interest to some comic readers in theaters this weekend...?

-There's going to be a MorrisonCon in Las Vegas this fall, and the first five of the nine guests who aren't going to be Grant Morrison have been announced

Film:

-David Uzumeri and Sims team up to discuss Superman/Richard Pryor team-up, Superman III

-Avengers co-founder Janet Van Dyne, better known as the winsome Wasp, obviously didn't make the cut for the movie line-up...but she was certainly a contender at one point
