Be it licensed Marvel and DC sets to videogames, the world of Lego has blossomed into an increasingly complex toyscape where most anything can be built to increasingly stringent specifications. Sometimes, though, simplicity is best. As spotted by Super Punch and Ads of the World, German ad agency Jung von Matt has harnessed the brick's more primitive powers by building minimalist representations of iconic cartoon characters. Among the instantly recognizable designs are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons and South Park characters, though JvM certainly schooled me with their take on Lucky Luke and the Daltons.
