New ‘The Avengers’ Movie Banners Hit the Web

As the film's May 4th release date approaches, Joss Whedon's The Avengers movie is slowly assembling before fankind's eyes online. Today at Yahoo! Movies and Moviefone, Marvel let loose two banners bearing four key Avengers characters each. Captain America is throwing his mighty shield, Bruce Banner is seeing a little green, Iron Man is arched for action, Thor's standing tall, Nick Fury's locked and loaded, Loki's rocking a helmet, Hawkeye's knocking an arrow and Black Widow's ready to strike. While the new banners aren't quite as inclusive as the mega poster that premiered at SDCC this past summer (no Agent Coulson or Maria Hill), fans will dig yet another look at the film's stars in costume.
