October Toys’ Colorful OMFG! Minifigs Arrive With ‘M.U.S.C.L.E.’ Fans in Mind
If ever there were an indie toy line that paid homage to M.U.S.C.L.E. (Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere), October Toys' new OMFG! (Outlandish Mini Figure Guys) line is it. Honoring Mattel's imported line of gummy PVC wrestler minifigures that brought Japan's Kinnikuman franchise to the United States in the mid to late '80s, OMFG! delivers five 2" tall bizarre monsters ripe for the modern day. What's more, retailer Onell Design is even hosting a crossover comic that gives the OMFG! characters a touch of backstory.
Initially brought to life by a successful Kickstarter page, October Toys has produced four differently colored (and packaged) varieties of its Crawdad Kid, King Castor, Multiskull, Phantom Sh*thouse and Stroll figure assortments for sale exclusively through four participating toy sites.
Check out early color tests and product images from each of the OMFG! exclusives from Onell Design, Rotofugi, LittleRubberGuys and University of M.U.S.C.L.E. below:
