Subway Stories: Comics from the Underground
Anyone who has lived in a city with a major public transportation system for any length of time inevitably has a few stories. After living in NYC for three years, I have a few of my own, including the half-naked hobos running around with a Jack-o-Lantern stuffed full of money, and the time I fell asleep and and actually woke up on a different train.
Turns out a lot of comic book creators are also veterans of the subway, and have a few wild and crazy stories of their own. They're being collected -- as comics, of course -- in a series called "Subway Stories" at the Daily Cross Hatch. The first comic by Raina Telgemeier, co-writer of the upcoming "X-Men: Misfits," is up now.
