Get Your Hammer On With The New ‘Thor: The Dark World’ iOS Game [Video]

It's getting to where you can set your watch to it: A new superhero movie means a new superhero game for the iPad and iPhone. Case in point: This fall, a new game will hit iOS devices to accompany the release of Thor: The Dark World. The good news is, unlike some superhero-movie-themed games, this one looks pretty fun, with a top-down view and fighting style similar to the X-Men Legends series and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Check out a few more screenshots and a trailer after the jump.

Locales in the Gameloft-developed game include Jotunheim and Asgard, and Thor will have the opportunity to team up with the Warriors Three to smash up Dark Elves and such. It looks like a marked improvement over the last iOS Thor offering.

Thor: The Dark World hits theaters November 8.
