Amethyst Returns For ‘Level 2′ This Weekend In New DC Nation Short [Video]

If you dug last week’s debut of Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld during the DC Nation program block, it looks like you can expect a second equally fantastical installment this Saturday on Cartoon Network. Entitled “Level 2: Village of the Frogs,” the new short continues Amethyst’s videogame-y adventures with a solid mix of combat, common sense and lots of stylized charm. What will we have to do to get Cartoon Network to pick up a full series of this and last week’s Thunder & Lightning? The short will join a new episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series entitled “Blue Hope” along with the Young Justice: Invasion episode, “Cornered,” bright and early at 10 a.m. EST/PST. You can check out the new Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld DC Nation clip after the cut.
