First ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ Gameplay Footage Arrives, Along With Knightfall And ’66 Costumes [Video]
Getting the jump on this week’s E3, WB Games Montréal has released the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins. The new gameplay vid expands on the game’s previously seen trailer and screen shots, and gives pending players a look at Bane, Deathstroke, Black Mask, Deadshot and the Joker in action (although Bane and Joker technically debuted in action figure form yesterday). Fans can also get a look at Batman’s new “Crime Scene system” and Remote Claw gadget… which, are kind of better than stuff he had in Arkham Asylum/Arkham City and make the whole prequel thing confusing, but whatever – it looks like it’s going to be pretty fun beating up a lot of famous villains for the first time as a young silvery-suited Batman! Handheld gamers will note that this trailer doesn’t give any insight into Batman: City Origins Blackgate, which is set to hit the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita alongside Arkham Origins on October 25, but perhaps E3 will yield more video later this week?
