The Howling Commandos and HYDRA Get Serious in New ‘Captain America’ Images

As great as its been to catch Chris Evans doing his super soldier duty over the past few months, fans of the Sentinel of Liberty's brothers and sisters in arms are going to love Paramount's latest image release. Bucky, Dum Dum Dugan, Peggy Carter and a full roster of Howling Commandos are standing tall in new images from Captain America: The First Avenger. Catch the good guys, along with a look at HYDRA's many, many bad guys, after the jump.Fans are already pretty familiar with Cap's central cast of Evans as Steve Rogers, Hugo Weaving as red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, but it's nice to see fan-favorite characters like the Howling Commandos get a close up.

From the looks of things Neal McDonough looks mighty convincing as Dum Dum Dugan. Derek Luke (Gabe Jones), Kenneth Choi (Jim Morita) and JJ Feild (Montgomery Falsworth) are also welcome additions to the film's version of the Howling Commandos. It may not include every character from the classic Sgt. Fury comic, but it seems to have a nice cross section of iconic soldiers. They'll probably be much more polite than the Inglourious Basterds, but that's okay in the film's PG-13 'verse.
