Mighty Mouse was famously created by Paul Terry in 1942 as a combination of two of the most popular characters in the world, Superman and Mickey Mouse. Now the Mouse is back in a new series from Dynamite, written by Sholly Fisch with art by Igor Lima. The first issue, out in June, features variant covers by legendary artist Neal Adams and painter/legendary fan of old stuff Alex Ross.

As someone who loves Kurt Russell more than I love my own wife (don’t tell her), nothing could have made me more excited for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 than the addition of Russell. Not only is Russell’s love of dim-witted characters a perfect match for the universe that director James Gunn has created, the film will also hopefully  —  and I cannot believe I’m saying this  —  introduce the actor to a generation of movie fans who have never seen iconic films like Escape From New York and, more importantly, Big Trouble in Little China.

J. Torres and Sean Dove's Brobots and the Kaiju Kerfuffle was one of the standout all-ages releases in recent years, combining friendship, teamwork and sweet puns with exciting action and awesome monsters. This August, the BroBots return for a new adventure and ComicsAlliance caught up the creators to discuss what readers can expect from BroBots and the Mecha Malarky.

Superhero comic fans love alternate universes and the doppelgangers that reside within, which is part of the reason that Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel's "Spider-Verse" was such a hit. To celebrate the many incarnations of the webhead, Mondo have just released two limited edition prints by DKNG, along with a set of Spider-Verse themed enamel pins by Tom Whalen featuring Peter, Miles and Gwen.

Every month, comic publishers release their solicitation announcements to provide information to readers and retailers on comics that are coming out in three months’ time, but there’s so much information dropped at once that a lot can slip through the cracks. This month in DC's June solicitations, DC Rebirth brings back some more old favorites in a more traditional setting, some New 52 standout stars get a chance to return, some Golden Age heroes appear in the least likely place, and Aquaman gets hot!

Sesame Street is one of the longest-running kids' shows in history for a good reason. It's not just entertaining; it's also genuinely important, providing kids from all over --- and especially kids from low-income or disadvantaged families --- with lessons about letters, numbers, and the world around them. Since the show is produced by the nonprofit Sesame Workshop, with a planned curriculum and heavy research in consultation with educational and teaching experts, Sesame Street is constantly evolving to suit the needs of its audience, so it's no surprise that the show is introducing Julia, an autistic Muppet.

I don't think I'm going to blow anyone's mind if I say that Jimmy Regent, the main character of Garth Ennis and Russ Braun's Jimmy Bastards, bears a striking resemblance to a well-known numerical super-spy with a tendency for brief but passionate trysts. Unlike that guy, however, Ennis and Braun's version is going to be facing some consequences of years --- possibly even decades --- of romantic encounters while saving the world.
