Getting Comic-Con tickets isn't easy, but if you want to go to Comic-Con 2015 --- and, we think you might --- we can help you sort through the confusion and answer any questions you might have so you can score yourself tickets for this year's big event, courtesy of our pals at ScreenCrush.

When Do Comic-Con 2015 Tickets Go On Sale?

Comic-Con will sell badges to the general public during Open Online Registration, which begins shortly after 9:00am PST / 12:00pm EST on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Badges sell out very, very quickly (last year all the badges were sold out in less than two hours) and not everyone who participates in the Open Online Registration will have the option to purchase a badge. The Online Registration page will open at 8:00am PT / 11:00am ET to allow you to enter your registration code and authorize your computer to enter the online lobby/waiting area (it is strongly recommended that you use an actual computer for your Comic-Con ticket purchase and not a mobile device).

Think of this area as a waiting room at a doctor's office. You want to get to there and have all your information ready so that when the doctor calls you in, you're ready to go. It does not matter what time you entered the waiting room as long as it is before 9:00am PT / 12:00pm ET. Those who have entered will called in random order for their registration session.

What Information Do You Need to Buy Comic-Con Tickets?

You need four things: your registration code, your Member ID, your last name and money. Your Member ID is essentially your username for your Comic-Con account and is necessary to access your registration code. Unfortunately, if you don't have a Member ID, the sign-ups are currently closed and you will be unable to purchase a Comic-Con ticket at this time. (If you forgot your Member ID or aren't sure if you have one, you can check here.) Log in to your account here and select the “Reservation Info” tab to obtain your personal registration code. This is a unique number that acts as your ticket into the Open Online Registration area. (It's used to prevent people from going in and buying a million badges and selling them on eBay for a huge markup.) Your last name is your last name, obviously. And as for money...

How Much Are Comic-Con Ticket Prices?

For Wednesday night (preview night), Comic-Con tickets for adults are $35 and $18 for kids and seniors. For Thursday, Friday and Saturday (when most of the actual stuff happens at Comic-Con), Comic-Con tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for kids and seniors. On Sunday (what is traditionally dubbed "kids day"), Comic-Con tickets are $35 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors. The Comic-Con online system accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and that's it.

In years past, there were 4-day Comic-Con tickets, but in 2015 there will only be single day Comic-Con tickets for sale.

What Are the Comic-Con 2015 Dates?

Comic-Con 2015 takes place much earlier than in years past. This year it will run from July 9 — July 12 with preview night on July 8.
