Courtesy of DC Comics, ComicsAlliance brings you an advance look at new periodical comic books, collected editions, and graphic novels going on sale in March 2016 (and in some cases beyond) from the publisher’s superhero line and the mature readers Vertigo imprint.

As DC Comics prepares for its March 2016 lineup, luck is running out for many of our favorite superheroes.

With Bruce Wayne finally doing the unthinkable, how will the remnants of Gotham's heroes stop the rise of The Master Race? Metal Men, Metamorpho, Firestorm and Sugar and Spike collide in one rough tale. It's going to be interesting to see Sugar and Spike try to take Batman's old retired costumes from Killer Moth. Speaking of the big, bad Bat, Bruce Wayne will finally don the cape and cowl once again to fight Mr. Bloom alongside Jim Gordon — it's the 2v1 fight you've been wanting to see for months. Supermen collide as Kal-El finally returns to full power and take on his pre-Flashpoint counterpart. In the deep, blue sea, Aquaman takes on Dead Water as Aquawoman hits the scene.

Burnside's greatest hero finally gets some friends as Batgirl takes on the mysterious enemy that has finally emerged from the shadows. Parallax thinks Hal Jordan has failed his duties, so we're going to see the Green Lantern go for broke. Wonder Woman will continue her quest in trying to save Olympus and Zeke, but it's going to push her to the limit with Apollo and Ares around. Meanwhile, the Darkseid War finally reaches its penultimate episode with the Justice League taking on the forces of Apokolips.

All of the following books can be purchased at finer comic book shops, where you can also pre-order your selections to ensure you’ll get a copy before they sell out.
