Weapon X alumni have a proud decades-long tradition of showing up in each other's comics to cause trouble and pick fights. But with favored target James "Logan" Howlett dead, the remaining Weapon Xers have to turn to each other. At least in my head, that's story behind the new arc that starts in Deadpool #8, which carries the very descriptive title "Deadpool vs. Sabretooth."

Series writer Gerry Duggan is joined by artist Matteo Lolli, who honed his "Wade Wilson fights guys" skills on Hawkeye vs. Deadpool. This storyline finds Wade looking for revenge on the man who killed his parents. That man was actually Wade himself, but he believes it was Sabretooth. Inevitably this leads to tension, violence, and apparently some drinking, judging by the preview pages. Deadpool #8 is on sale March 2nd.

Today, Marvel is pleased to present your first look at DEADPOOL #8 – the first chapter of “Deadpool vs. Sabretooth”! Writer Gerry Duggan and incoming artist Matteo Lolli (Hawkeye vs. Deadpool) bring you the explosive next chapter in Wade Wilson’s life!
