I've never been a huge fan of DragonBall Z, Akira Toriyama's long-running story of landscape shots, shouting and occasional super ultimate planet-destroying martial arts attacks. Admittedly, that sounds like something I'd be totally into, so I'm starting to think that it's not the story I don't like, but just the way it's presented.

Fortunately for me, DBZ has entered a new medium: Snack foods. As a promotion for the upcoming Battle of Gods movie, Japan's Mini Stop convenience stores have unveiled a new line of DBZ-inspired snacks, featuring pizza-blasted Dragon Balls and the truly amazing Super Saiyan fries.First up, of course, are the Super Saiyan Fries, which are probably the best combination of product and packaging that has ever existed:

Almost as great, a dish of "milk pudding" designed to look like Maijin Buu:

This snack based on Goku's Spirit Bomb is apparently pizza flavored, which is both horrifying and intriguing:

This one's called "Melon Bread."

And finally, I'm not sure what these are, but they look deep fried, which means that my wish has already come true:

Here at ComicsAlliance, our curiosity is more than piqued, so if any of you happen to be in Japan, head down to Mini Stop and let us know how these things actually taste!
