It’s a Biker Gang Beatdown In ‘Judge Dredd: Mega-City Two’ #2 [Preview]

If catching Dredd cringe through traffic jams trapped in a civilian-grade car and dispatching perps with hilariously-nonlethal weaponry was your cup of tea in Judge Dredd: Mega-City Two #1 last month, you’ll be pleased to know the ultimate comic book character culture-shock continues this week in issue #2 by writer Douglas Wolk, artist Ulises Farinas and colorist Ryan Hill. This time around Dredd’s finally gotten his hands on a proper bike, but at the cost of going deep undercover to infiltrate some surprisingly talented biker gangs in the name of solid reality television. Oh, and justice?

From IDW’s official solicitation info:

In the hills of what was once California, Dredd has gone undercover as a Cursed Earth biker! His mission: to infiltrate the Children of a Lesser Grud, a bloodthirsty motorcycle cult of outlaw artists! But the rules—and the laws—are very different in Mega-City Two, where image is everything…

Another selling point for the issue is the main cover by Farinas, which sports two full pages of Dredd paper doll pieces. I’m not sure what the citizens of Mega City One would think about cutting up a comic cover for fun and fashion, but it seems like a very Mega City Two thing to do, man.

You can read seven pages from Judge Dredd: Mega-City Two below.
