Fans know the present-day Amazing Spider-Man Peter Parker and his 2099 counterpart Miguel O'Hara will be teaming up across the span of several decades in Activision and Beenox's upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time, but how exactly will their cause-and-effect adventures manifest visually? A new featurette at IGN gives future players a pretty decent look at some of the title's transformative sequences, plus commentary from game makers and Spidey co-creator Stan Lee. Peer into the future of the October 4 release after the jump. While Edge of Time will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS, the footage in IGN's featurette only conveys the PS3/360 gameplay. Other Ocean Interactive are behind the handheld versions of the game, which is a departure from Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions' generally well-regarded DS version by Griptonite Games, but with any luck the new studio will deliver the dual-Spider-Man goods.
