It's probably not that uncommon for some comic book fans to fantasize about being Stan Lee, considering he co-created much of the Marvel Universe and had the honor of working with such comic book legends as Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and John Buscema (amongst many, many others) in the process. But, let's face it: It'd be so much better to be a Stan Lee who had Spider-Man's super powers, right...? Well, now that I've put that in your head, face it tigers: you're about to (kind of) hit the jackpot with the new The Amazing Spider-Man videogame.Activision had announced that players who preorder the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man from Amazon will get access to a special series of missions starring Lee who, armed with Spidey's web-crawling abilities and his own wise-cracking ways, has to save New York City from certain danger. As if the chance to play an 89-year old man swinging his way around the metropolitan skyline isn't enough, the company is also promising a surprise ending at the end of the arc which Kotaku believes may have something to do with Spidey's 50th anniversary this year.

In case you want to pre-order the game but avoid any confusion over whether or not you're the man who is partially responsible for She-Hulk, GameStop has its own pre-order bonus: Rhino Challenge, which lets players rampage across the city as Spidey's popular thick-skinned nemesis. If only there was some way to mix the two together and get a Stan Lee/Rhino showdown going...
