Star Wars may have taken place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, but any Indiana Jones fan could tell you the two tales share some surprising links in the form of various easter eggs. Now, Star Wars Rebels is in on the fun with its own Indy gag, along with other Ralph McQuarrie and The Force Awakens nods from this Saturday’s latest.

You’re warned of light spoilers from this past Saturday’s latest Star Wars Rebels look “Through Imperial Eyes,” but eagle-eyed viewers may have caught some surprising relics in Grand Admiral Thrawn’s office, including a head-scratching Indiana Jones find. As explained by art director Kilian Plunkett (hey, that sounds familiar) in a new Rebels Recon video, the Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade somehow found its way into Thrawn’s possession.

Don’t get us started as to whether that implies the chalice of Christ was actually an alien relic from distant galaxies, or if Star Wars somehow took place in Indiana Jones’ future, but the grail wasn’t the only easter egg visible in Thrawn’s office. Among the other artifacts in view, Plunkett revealed not only the Clone Trooper helmet likely belonging to Yoda’s would-be assassin on Kashyyyk, but also a bust of the “Ello Asty” species that appeared in The Force Awakens, and even an actual piece of Ralph McQuarrie artwork.

There’s every chance that Star Wars Rebels might reveal additional hidden treasures throughout Thrawn’s office and beyond, but in the meantime, check out a clip from this coming Saturday’s “Secret Cargo” below, and stay tuned fore more on that big showdown to come.
