‘Thor: The Dark World’ Pop! Vinyl Figures Coming From Funko In Time For The Movie

Maybe I've been on Tumblr too long, but considering Joss Whedon and other Marvel bigwigs' remarks about the probable lack of Loki in future Marvel movies, I think it may have been a mistake not to call Thor: The Dark World "Thor 2: Look at Tom Hiddleston While you Can, Screaming Fans." That's not a diss. I genuinely worry about how many hearts might break from a lack of fresh Loki supply following The Dark World's November 8 release. Funko's got at least a little bit of a solution, though, with its upcoming rollout of Pop! Vinyl figures based on Thor, Loki and an armored Dark Elf.

Funko Rolling Out ‘Regular Show’ Pop Vinyl Figures

Funko's Pop Vinyl series is set to continue its Adventure Time line this fall with six new figures joining the current assemblage of Finn, Jake, Ice King, Marceline the Vampire Queen and Lumpy Space Princess. Natasha Allegri's fan-favorite female versions of AT's usual male protagonists Fionna and Cake are notable standouts, with Princess Bubblegum, Ice King's penguin Gunter, Lemongrab and BMO rounding the half-dozen figure strong wave out.

Funko Unboxes Batman With Beefy Boxos Papercraft Playset

Following the debut of its bigger Boxos/Mixos papercraft figures and smaller-scale Iron Man 3 set, Funko has finally turned its attention to Batman. Expected out this month for around $8 is a new Boxos Batman papercraft playset that contains a foldable Wayne Manor/Batcave environment, plus figures of Batman, Robin, the Joker, Alfred and Bruce Wayne. Just in case you were worried the playset would make the Dynamic Duo homebodies, the set will also come with a paper Batmobile.

Continuing its San Diego Comic-Con exclusive rollout, Funko has revealed a slew of new Wacky Wobbler and Pop! Vinyl figures that fans of DC Comics and Masters of the Universe (and... Disco?) may be eager to see at its booth. Next week Funkophiles can get their hands on the Metallic Skeletor Wacky Wobbler, Metallic Batman '66 Wacky Wobbler, Metallic Domo Batman, Domo Man of Steel, Black Suit Man of Steel, Disco Skeletor and Bloody Rorschach.
