DC Collectibles Solicitations For December 2013

dccdecember

It looks like DC Collectibles is going to make fans of DC's video game's pretty happy come March. Batman: Arkham Origins will get four more 6.75" action figures as part of the line's second series, including Deadshot, Deathstroke and the newly unveiled Firefly and Anarky. Scribblenauts Unmasked will also expand with 11 new 2.25" blind-boxed figures, such as Cyborg, Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes) and Superman Blue. Joining all the video game goodness are more New 52 Crime Syndicate action figures, a Sinestro bust, statues of Huntress, Superman and Batman, and hefty Fables bookends. You can see all of DC's December solicitation info, after the jump.

‘Scribblenauts Unmasked’ Set To Launch With A Full-Length Comic Story

Scribble01

As the only video game that we're likely to get in the forseeable future that includes Arm-Fall-Off-Boy and the KGBeast, Scribblenauts Unmasked is one of my most anticipated releases of the year. Now, though, there's another incentive to get excited about it: When the game comes out this fall, it'll come with a digital comic by Josh Elder and Adam Archer about Batman, Superman and company duking it out with their evil opposites.

Check out the cover, screenshots from the game and more info below!

Confirmed: ‘Scribblenauts Unmasked’ Has Basically Every DC Comics Character [SDCC 2013]

Scribblenauts01

When you essentially just read obscure DC comics for a living, it's pretty easy to see something like Scribblenauts Unmasked as a challenge. I'll admit that when they announced the game by promising that they'd added "over 2,000 DC characters and items" to the game's dictionary of stuff you can drop into it just by writing it out, my first reaction was along the lines of "I bet I could stump it." At Comic-Con, I got my chance when I played through a demo, and I actually couldn't.

This thing has everyone.

All The DC Comics Goodness We’ve Seen From ‘Scribblenauts Unmasked’ So Far [Video]

scribblenautsunmaskedmain

Warner Bros. Entertainment and 5th Cell Media confirmed April's rumors of a Scribblenauts/DC Comics title in a big way in May with the official announcement of Scribblenauts Unmasked and a corresponding trailer and set of screen shots demonstrating protagonist Maxwell's future adventures with the heroes and villains of the DCU powered by his noun-manifesting magical notebook. They didn't stop there, though, sharing evermore preview images across social media, giving players a broader look at Scribblenauts-ified DC characters and locations, plus gameplay functionality unique to game such as the game's Super Hero Creator module and Batcomputer. Are you ready for ScribblenautsMogo?
