Serving as something of a bump up from the Target-exclusive 5.25" Justice League action figures, Mattel's new Four Horsemen-sculpted DC Total Heroes action figures are set to arrive in January. Standing at 6" tall, the line's first four figures include New 52-ish Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Sinestro figures that will retail for around $10 a piece. The toys sport a range of articulation not unlike the less cartoony DC Universe toy line and come packed with accessories that may or may not be yellow hockey sticks.
Square Enix's Play Arts Kai takes on the last cousins of Krypton previously showcased at SDCC have finally received a shiny coat of paint. New images of the DC Comics Variant Superman and Supergirl in all their blue, red and yellow glory have arrived, giving fans a solid (if not telescopic vision-enhanced) look at both of the 9.5" tall strange visitors from another planet.

Mattel's kinda catch-all 4" tall DC Multiverse action figure line is set to kick off 2014 with half a dozen heroes and villains from the Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Origins video games. Batman leads the line with two figures of the hero in his standard and armored Wii U Arkham City suits, respectively, joined by AC versions of Mr. Freeze and Azrael. On the Arkham Origins side of the line are figures of Bane and Deadshot, suited up for snowy combat in Gotham.

Upcoming: The Walking Dead

DC Collectibles gave fans a shadowy look at three of its New 52 Crime Syndicate set to roll out in February a few weeks back, but to commemorate this week's launch of Forever Evil #1, the veil has been lifted on the full lineup. Coming in 2014 are roughly 6.75" versions of Ultraman, Superwoman, Power Ring, Johnny Quick (with Atomica) and Owlman, all sporting 24-25 points of articulation.
Two of the newest (or... youngest?) heroes from the Assassin's Creed world are set to debut as part of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line. Hatchet-weilding Assassin's Creed III protagonist Connor and the swashbuckling Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are both set to join the 9.5" tall line of heavily detailed and accessorized action figures in the not-too-distant future.
