Marvel’s Agent Carter has made no secret of Peggy’s big trip to L.A., both literally and figuratively moving on from Captain America, but what new trouble will our beloved Agent face out west? The newest big bad for Agent Carter Season 2 has arrived, as Peggy faces Marvel’s Madame Masque.

Marvel may not have brought any movies to Comic-Con 2015, but the Agents were out in full force as both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Peggy Carter took the stage at Ballroom 20 to preview their new seasons. S.H.I.E.L.D. opened up the Secret Warriors vault while Agent Carter prepped for L.A., and our full panel report has the scoop!

Agent Carter Season 2 has been shaping up ahead of Comic-Con with a brand-new poster, as well as characters both confirmed and debunked to return, and now we can add more to the former. Chad Michael Murray has confirmed his return to Agent Carter Season 2, while buzz suggests Dominic Cooper will make an appearance as Howard Stark as well.

The 1940s timeline of Marvel’s Agent Carter makes Peggy’s adventures seemingly difficult to connect to the present-day MCU, though the first season finale certainly suggested that Arnim Zola might take a larger role in Season 2, potentially exploring The Winter Soldier’s origins. Not so, according to showrunners, who tease that new recognizable Marvel baddies lie in store for Agent Carter Season 2.

Given Agent Carter’s January airdate, this time last year had news of Peggy’s first season somewhat hard to come by. Compounding that mystery box for Season 2 is Agent Carter’s relocation to the West Coast, but fear not, shippers of all sides, James D’Arcy’s Jarvis and Enver Gjokaj’s Daniel Sousa will indeed join Peggy once again next year.

Marvel Studios may have opted out of Comic-Con 2015 for any number of reasons, though the dependable folks at Marvel TV will make sure our stay in San Diego isn’t without an Agents check-in. Not only will the Agents of SHIELD be out in full force for a Season 3 panel, they’ll be joined by spiritual predecessor Agent Carter.

Fresh off the news the baddest lady in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will get a second season of adventures, Funko has revealed its Agent Carter Peggy Carter Pop figure. Fans of Marvel’s Agent Carter were rightly ecstatic to learn that Peggy’s solo adventures would return for a second season in 2016, but there may yet be more reason to celebrate. Series star Hayley Atwell claims that Season 2 will have an expanded episode order from the first, also teasing new details of Agent Carter’s L.A. life.

Marvel fans the world over breathed a collective sigh of relief when ABC announced that Agent Carter would return for Season 2, but Peggy may yet have some big changes on the horizon. The ass-kicking period drama will again premiere sandwiched between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes, but will lift off for sunny Los Angeles and a Marvel-ous new threat.
