Fantastic Five: Best Time Travelers
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our years on the Internet, it’s that there’s no aspect of comics that can’t be broken down and quantified in a single definitive list, preferably in amounts of five or ten. And since there’s no more definitive authority than ComicsAlliance, we’re taking it upon ourselves to compile Top Five lists of everything you could ever want to know about comics. Time travel is a tricky topic that can often trip up a story, but when it's done right it can be one of the most exciting and rewarding tropes in superhero fiction. Justice League Action, premiering this Friday, December 16, at 6 PM EST on Cartoon Network, is the first new TV version of the Justice League since Justice League Unlimited ended in 2006. From the advance promos, we knew the show was aiming for a younger audience from that show, but beyond a few casting announcements we didn't know many details. This review deals with the basic plot elements of the episode, and details which characters appear, but beyond that we'll do our best to avoid spoilers.

While DC Comics has had a great 2016 largely thanks to its DC Rebirth initiative, the success of its updated Hanna-Barbera titles such as Future Quest and The Flintstones has been one of the most surprising hits of the year. Waiting To Relaunch: Five DC Properties In Need Of A New Comic
It seems that at least once a year the Big Two superhero publishers push for a major relaunch of their titles with a wave of new number ones that often feature characters that haven’t had an ongoing series in a long while. The choices are sometimes baffling, but the relaunches usually result in at least a few surprise hits, like Omega Men and Superwoman. DC Rebirth seems to be going well for the publisher, but in most regards it was a very safe relaunch, with many core properties bumped up to twice-monthly schedules, and only a few real risks being taken. We’ve put together a list of five ideal candidates for the next big relaunch, which might seem a little riskier than another new Batman comic, but could lead to some great new stories.

Now we’ve learned that the Booster Gold movie won’t be involved in the DC cinematic universe at all.

Superhero Color Theory, Part I: The Primary Heroes
Take a look at the biggest names in superheroes and you probably realize that you're looking at a sea of red, blue, yellow. There are some greens, whites, blacks, etc, but the most iconic superheroes are the red and blue, with yellow accents.
