Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá are from São Paolo, Brazil. It's their home, where they were raised, and where much of their most personal comics work, like De:Tales and Daytripper, is set. They have a deep emotional attachment to the city and country they love. As such, when the recent recent protests across São Paolo -- stemming from a rise in bus fares that is seen by many in the country as a reflection of political corruption -- began to turn violent, the Brazilian twins were compelled to explore their feelings on the subject the way they so often do: through their art.

Later this year Matt Fraction, along with twin artists Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon, will return to the world of Casanova, the trio's highly regarded creator-owned series and a ComicsAlliance favorite. This would be welcome news on its own, but there's now an added bonus for followers of the series, as earlier today Fraction announced that Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Michael Chabon will be joinin

Even though it's been more than three years since the last issue of the second volume of The Umbrella Academy, the sci-fi family saga illustrated by Gabriel Bá is never far from writer Gerard Way's mind. The My Chemical Romance frontman just got a little busy between starting a family, touring the world, and releasing Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and working on its similar

If you've never been to San Diego's Comic-Con International, it's hard to picture just how huge and insane it truly is. Last year's attendance numbers topped out around 120,000 people, turning the little town that Ron Burgundy made famous into a nightmarish maelstrom of Twilight shantytowns, promotional blitzes and a decibel level akin to a black metal concert...

‘Daytripper': The Best Reminder of Your Impending Death
Not to freak you out, but you could die today. Random accident, sudden aneurysm, violent crime. It's the thought that any of these things could happen at any moment that stops us sometimes, and makes us reflect on how close that truck came or how easy it would be to just slip over the railing...
