Masters of the Universe Artwork with a Touch of Orko Magic [Art]

If you drain enough oxygen out of your brain and try to look at some old He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoons, chances are you're going to see something similar to Bruno Santinho's MotU artwork (and I mean that in the best, most complimentary way possible). Seriously, though, Santinho's brilliant, bubbly clusters of shapes breath new life into Tri-Klops and Rob

motu01

Outside of sitting down to watch the ludicrous He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special a few weeks ago, I'll admit that I'm not all that familiar with the world of Masters of the Universe, but after seeing Robert Lamb's collection of production art from the series, I want to be:

At first glance, his "LEGOptimus Prime" is a dead ringer for the original toy, but when you look closer, there's some incredibly creative part use that makes this figure great, like the use of 14 shiny daggers to make the truck grille. What's more, the small car is actually a motorized RC vehicle that fits inside the truck.

And that's far from the only amazing creation he's bu
