As much as we all like an artist with a defined style that you can recognize in an instant, one f the coolest things about seeing art is finding someone who has an incredible versatility in what they do. That's my favorite thing about artist Igor Wolski -- not only is he incredibly skilled in creating beautiful art, but he's able to do it in multiple styles.
Whether it's Dragon Ball-inspired fight scenes or pixellated versions of Link and Hellboy, they're fantastic. Check out a sampling of some great illustrations below!
The first thing I saw when I went to check out Isaac Lenkiewicz's art was a post about how he messed up his hand falling off a skateboard, so even before I got too far, I was pretty sure I was going to like what he had to offer. Turns out, I was right: The stuff he posts at his website, including short comics inspired by Die Hard, sumo-wrestling giants and Bart Simpson fighting a vampire with a skateboard? Turns out that is exactly my jam, and "Challenge Bear" might be my new favorite character.

If the little boxes in the pixelated artwork of games such as Sword and Sworcery and Bit.Trip Beat stimulate your art receptors in a positive way, you should probably acquaint yourself with Andy Helms' retro-tastic GIF files. His art is 8-bit
As we've covered pretty extensively over the past few months, Sega's got mondo Thor movie videogame offerings on the shelves. As much as these current-gen console games appeal to our 21st century tastes, however, Marvel's gone straight for our nost
When we first found out about Sega and WayForward's Thor movie tie-in videogame, our expectations were mutated by a weird nostalgia for a simpler era of pixelated action. We love current-gen console tech as much as the next non-luddite, but 1UP's gallery of Nintendo
