Though it's not in scale with Kaiyodo's The Dark Knight action figure from 2010, the Revoltech version of The Dark Knight Rises vehicles looks like it still packs plenty of Christian Bale-iciousness into its compact size. With eight points of articulation, a detachable cockpit canopy and a mini (nonposable) Batman nestled inside, it may actually move around more than Batman's crazy multi-copter did in the movie.

Not content to merely cosplay as DC Comics superheroes, NHK and sometime Target spokesfurson, and all-around manga star Domo is getting a full-on Revoltech action figure from Kaiyodo. Set to debut in April for around $30-40, the new Domo figure is highly articulated and comes packed with a TV, a remote control, a bowl of rice, chopsticks, four swappable hands and four sets of interchangable eyes. There's "mad" eyes, "teary" eyes, closed eyelid eyes and sleepy eyes. That provides something like 128 combinations that can be mixed and matched and rotated to a collector's content, which is good because Domo is an expressive fellow.
When it comes to Kaiyodo's line of highly-articulated, pocket-sized Revoltech line, usually giant robots, monsters, sword fighters and martial artists come to mind, but it looks like Yotsuba is about to get another neighbor in the line's "cuteness" corner as Sanrio's Hello Kitty is set to get an action figure on December 15 in Japan.
Most toy companies that licensed Iron Man 3 action figures released info about their wares in advance of the movie this past summer, but it looks like Kaiyodo has been waiting for the Blu-ray to drop before announcing its Sci-fi Revoltech Iron Man Mark 42. Standing a little taller than 6", the latest IM3 action figure offering packs 18 points of articulation - not unlike Hasbro's Marvel Legends-scale version. The imported Revoltech will pack quite a few more accessories than its domestic counterpart when it arrives on January 1 of 2014, however, coming equipped with multiple effect parts and hands.
