Preview: Drax Gets To Destroyin' In New Series
That Drax fella has a thing for retired wrestlers; he was played by one, Dave Bautista, in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and is being written by another, C.M. Punk, in his new self-titled series.
Never let it be said that Marvel doesn't give new talents a shot; Punk is relatively inexperienced in the comics writing game, even more so than Bautista at the acting game. Fortunately he's tag-teaming with co-writer and Sixth Gun creator Cullen Bunn, and the two of them can count on the expressive and dynamic pencil work of former Captain Marvel artist Scott Hepburn, who will help keep the blood flowing as Drax the Destroyer carves his way through his enemies.
