Last week Zack Snyder served Marvel a diss while discussing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and reiterating that the film is very serious and mythological. Shots were effectively fired, and this week they’re being returned by Sebastian Stan, who serves a diss right back at Snyder and DC while talking up Winter Soldier’s role in Captain America: Civil War.
And that’s a wrap…for now. Captain America: Civil War has completed principal filming, and now the post-production process (and our long march to next May) begins. The film shot primarily at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, with additional filming taking place in Berlin (hello, Baron Zemo) and Puerto Rico. The news was delivered by Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito, while additional, supplementary filming will likely occur sometime over the next few months or so.
The brooding former Howling Commando with a sweet robot arm (and maybe a heart of gold?) known as The Winter Soldier is getting his 1/6 scale collectible figure due from Hot Toys later this year. No, it won't be available for several months after Captain America: The Winter Soldier arrives in theaters on April 4, but once you know its stylin' secret, you might consider the figure well worth the wait.
If Marvel Studios isn't careful, it's going to end up posting the entirety of Captain America: The Winter Soldier on YouTube well in advance of the movie's release next month.
But that's not for us to worry about. All we need to do is watch the minute-long clip released today that reveals how Cap and The Winter Soldier first crossed paths (as far as they know, anyway). It involves a lot of Cap just running straight through closed doors, windows and walls. It's almost as intense as the combat-heavy four minutes of the movie released last week. Check it out after the jump!

If the Super Bowl trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier didn't adequately whet your whistle for the new movie, then maybe a new batch of photos from the film will pique your interest.
Marvel has a new gallery of images (set to autoplaying music, you should be warned) that showcase not only Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, but Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier himself. In fact, it's probably the best clear look we've gotten at the character. Check out the images (with no autoplaying music) after the jump!
Like seemingly every year these days, 2014 will see its fair share of super hero films, with the most anticipated possibly being Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Both films had their first trailers debut recently, and now we're seeing more photos arrive online, with this latest batch spotlighting the Winter Soldier, Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Redford as Agent Pierce, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jamie Foxx as Electro and more.
Anticipation for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is running pretty high, and it's really not surprising why. Captain America: The First Avenger ranks among the more critically successful of all the films set in the Marvel cinematic universe, and so its sequel is certainly one that many viewers would be looking forward to. Further stoking excitement is the fact that, as it reportedly will heavily feature Black Widow and Nick Fury, it serves as a sequel of sorts to last summer's Avengers movie. The film is still six months away, but Marvel has just revealed the first teaser trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which you can view below.
