Marvel Comics is taking over the Star Wars franchise, but not until next year. So why shouldn't the longtime steward of the franchise, Dark Horse, have some fun with it and help out a worthy cause while it can?

Dark Horse is the latest in a long line of publishers to offer up a Humble Bundle comics package, but unlike the others, its offering is themed: strictly Star Wars books. Among the titles up for grabs are the first volume of the Star Wars Omnibus: A Long Time Ago (which collects the classic Marvel series from the '70s), the first volume of the Empire series, the entire Darth Maul: Death Sentence miniseries, and a lot more.

All in all, there's about $190 worth of comics available in the deal, and all it takes is $15 to get everything. The proceeds can be split any way buyers want between Dark Horse and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

For making any contribution at all, customers get six volumes, including Empire, the Once Upon a Time omnibus, the Darth Maul mini, Star Wars: Jedi Vol. 1: The Dark Side, Star Wars: Crimson Empire Vol. 1 and Star Wars: Blood Ties Jango and Boba Fett.

For spending more than the average amount (about $10 as of Wednesday night), buyers get Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Lost Command, Star Wars: The Old Republic Vol. 1: Blood of the Empire, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Vol. 1: Commencement, Star Wars: Legacy Vol. 1: Broken, and Star Wars: Dark Times Vol. 1: The Path to Nowhere. Those that pay the full $15 get Star Wars Vol. 1: In the Shadow of Yavin, too.

The comics are available in CBZ and PDF formats, and are DRM-free. The offer ends Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. Pacific time.
