Best Buddies Hulk and Thor Join Marvel Legends 12-Inch Line
By the rate Hasbro is going, there won't be very many things left to reveal at Toy Fair this year. Already we've seen the Spider-Man: Homecoming teases in a variety of lines, but now we're also getting a look at what's to come from the Marvel Legends 12" figures. The 12" figures made their debut last year with Captain America and Iron Man setting the pace to tie into Captain America: Civil War. Spider-Man followed close behind, but now even more Avengers are about to join in on the fun. Oh, and Deadpool is here too.
We actually saw Deadpool at San Diego Comic-Con last summer, but the new images released by Hasbro show off all the accessories you'll find included with the 12" version of Wade Wilson in a few months. Headpool's inclusion is a nice surprise for Deadpool fans, but the rest of the inclusions are all fairly common for the mercenary.
The real story are the new Thor and Hulk being released in the fall. Both of the sculpts are impressive as heck, with loads of detail typically unseen in the smaller Marvel Legends. Thor and Hulk both come with two portraits, with Thor's showing off his bearded helmet side and his more clean-cut princely side. Hulk's has a classic bowl cut or a more modern short buzz. Obviously both come with different hands, but it'll be interesting to see what other accessories Thor and Hulk come with at release.
Obviously Mjolnir is getting packed in with the Odinson, but Hulk doesn't have anything particularly noteworthy he carries around all the time. Here's hoping he gets more than a street sign and a big boulder to lug around. At least he'll have a bit more size on his side, as Hulk will be to scale of sorts, and come in at 14.5" tall instead of the more standard 12" the rest of the figures have met so far.
The 12" Marvel Legends Deadpool will be out this spring for $49.99, while Thor and the Hulk are due out in the fall for $49.99 and $74.99 respectively. We'll see more of Hasbro's Marvel Legends offerings next weekend live from the floor of Toy Fair 2017.
