Wolverine Faces a Well-Dressed Blob in ‘All-New X-Men’ #4 [Preview]
The second story arc of Dennis Hopeless and Mark Bagley's All-New X-Men run begins in issue #4 next month, and the first chapter of "Flesh Wounds" sees Wolverine jumping headfirst into a fight with the Blob. Good old Fred Dukes appears to be powered up since his last appearance, and he's wearing a suit and tie. So regardless of how this story goes, congrats on getting it together, Blob!
This preview is clearly building on the existing subplot in which Angel is uncomfortable, now that Wolverine is his girlfriend (or now that his girlfriend is Wolverine?), with how unafraid of injury she is. Personally, I'm hoping that story leads to Angel being told to get the heck over it. He's dating Wolverine, and part of her job is occasionally standing in the middle of explosions or getting shot in the face multiple times. Every superhero has their role, and I'm sure Wolverine would never suggest that Angel should stop flying around dodging large objects in every fight.
All-New X-Men #4 is on sale February 10.
