Captain Levi Gets A Suitably Deadpan 'Attack On Titan' Figma

The strongest -- and most deadpan -- soldier from Attack on Titan will get the full range of Figma action figure articulation and accessorizing in 2014. Captain Levi of The Survey Corps Special Operations Squad will join AoT protagonists Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman sometime around their respective June and July releases to help defend humanity and its last walled stronghold against the scourge of the mysterious man-eating titans. And he'll do looking kinda like Grumpy Cat.

Like the Eren and Mikasa figures, the Levi Figma will come with a cloak, removable "Vertical Maneuvering Equipment" and an optional smoke effect part, plus two blades. Unique to the Levi Figma will be his three swappable face parts that provide his "normal," "clenching" and "cool-headed" expressions. Of course, with Levi, the differences between the three are appropriately subtle as seen in Hajime Isayama's AoT manga and its anime adaptation.

Those seeking the figure can expect to shell out around 4,937 Yen ($48 USD) when it becomes available for preorder on your site of choice.
