To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Free Comic Book Day, Diamond Comic Distributors is offering commemorative T-shirts featuring designs by Art Baltazar (Aw Yeah Comics!) and Francesco Francavilla (Afterlife with Archie), which will be featured in the January issue of Previews and arrive in comic book stores in April 2016.

It's a great choice of artists; their styles are very very different, and the designs play into that, but they're also exciting talents whose careers have seemed to go from strength to strength in recent years, working outside of traditional "big two" superhero house style (though both artists can and do draw superheroes to get effect and acclaim).

Both artists' designs feature comic book characters and, just as prominently, feature comic books within the art.

Unsurprisingly, Baltazar's shirt focuses on all ages and humor comics. In addition to Aw Yeah Comics characters, it features Archie, Sabrina, and the stars of Itty Bitty Hellboy. This shirt will be available in black or blue.

Francavilla's shirt puts the spotlight on sci fi, horror, and superheroes. It spotlights a guy who looks a lot like Superman, accompanied by a dog who looks even more like Krypto, as well as an alien, a robot, a zombie, a female superhero, and Francavilla's own Black Beetle. This shirt will be available in black or purple. Both shirts are available in unisex adult sizes small to XXXL, women’s V-neck sizes Extra Small to XXL, and youth sizes, Small to Large.

The same artwork will also be available on limited edition commemorative posters.
