A couple weeks ago, we took a look at DarthKy's proposed LEGO Cuusoo Assault On Wayne Manor set, a massive, three-level build that included Batman's ancestral home and the anti-crime basement beneath. Now, the same team is back with their newest proposed project: a massive LEGO recreation of the X-Mansion, including an underground Danger Room.

This thing is basically amazing, full of deceptively complicated pieces and fantastic nods to the history of everyone's favorite mutants. Check out more info and images below!

The cool thing about DarthKy and Glenbricker's X-Mansion is how much they've managed to cram in there. Like their Wayne Manor, this one has the modular, hinged build that lets it open up, and hen you do, there's a ton of stuff to explore. Classrooms for the students, Professor Xavier's office, Beast's lab -- they've even got Storm's attic garden, complete with a trapdoor in the ceiling for Cannonball to blast out of, for those of you whose idea of the X-Men still includes cannonball.

The biggest feature, though, s the Danger Room, complete with Cerebro and an observation deck:

There are fantastic ideas down here, too, designed to evoke the feel of the classic Danger Room with traps, obstacles, and a giant robot. Of course, part of the proposal also includes "holographic villains" for the X-Men to practice with, in the form of stickers printed on clear blocks:

The Danger Room also has a pretty cool set of sliding vault doors to seal in the action:

My favorite detail in the set, though, comes in Professor X's office, where the creators have included a cheesed-off Kitty Pryde, storming out in her classic ski jacket from Uncanny X-Men #168:

That's the kind of attention to detail that really lets you know the creators have a handle on what they're doing -- and makes it exactly the sort of fanservice-filled model thatX-Men readers would go bankrupt buying if it ever made it into production as the massive set that it would definitely be.
