The cat was fairly well out of the bag last month when we discovered completed artwork from the tie-in comic, but it's now official: Galactus is the final boss of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. The confirmation comes by way of a mysterious YouTube video that features a bigger-than-life Galactus laying down some powerfully cosmic moves on a couple of players who were ultimately unable to defeat the devourer of worlds, thus causing the Earth itself to be K.O.'d.Our suspicions concerning Galactus' role in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 were initially piqued by the discovery of some conspicuous comic book pages on artist Kevin Sharpe's ComicArtFans gallery. The artwork depicted Galactus as well as M.O.D.O.K. and Taskmaster, who were also added to the game. When the pages were subsequently removed, it seemed we'd found our big baddie.

As you can see in the video -- which contains one instance of not-safe-for-work language on account of one of the players just sucking really badly -- Galactus is in full effect. Players will run into all sorts of problems with this guy, not the least of which is the fact that he can just squish you whenever he feels like it.
