While touring San Francisco in advance of this week's Image Expo, Glory and DC Universe Presents writer Joe Keatinge came upon this excellent street mural that recreates the iconic "Starwatcher" illustration by Jean Giraud, probably better known to ComicsAlliance readers as Moebius. According to Juxtapoz, the mural was painted by artists Mark Bode, Stan 153, and Cuba, in tribute to the late French master who passed away in 2012.

The mural appears to have been at 90 Clarion Alley in San Francisco since last June but we only heard about it just now because our Bay Area spies are obviously terrible.

Keatinge is bound to have more pics from the Image Expo rolling out on Instagram all week, and you should just follow him anyway because you never know what rare comic book treasures he'll document from the Keatinge Kollection.
