It’s a bit strange that we’re still five months away from the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and yet we’ve already seen so, so much from Zack Snyder’s epic superhero showdown. We’re destined to see a whole lot more as the holiday season approaches and we edge ever closer to the actual release date. For now, Warner Bros. has revealed four new photos from the set of the upcoming film, which is reportedly costing them over $400 million.

With that kind of money spent on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it’s no wonder than WB is heavily marketing this thing to ensure they recoup their expenses. Four new production stills were released in the latest issue of Total Film, featuring Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman — the latter two are featured in images recognizable from the trailers, while Affleck’s Batman is seen with director Zack Snyder, filming some sort of fight sequence. The highly-anticipated film is officially described as follows:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Affleck, Cavill and Gadot are joined by Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter, along with returning Man of Steel cast members Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
