One of the coolest things about 2012's sadly unsequeled Dredd movie was how well they translated the over-the-top costume of the comics into a slightly more toned-down film version. Admittedly, it wasn't quite as comics-accurate as the costume that we saw in the Sylvester Stallone movie --- which was about as close as you could get to the source material in a movie where Judge Dredd just would not keep his damn helmet on --- but by keeping all of those familiar elements in place and combining them with a more "tactical" look, they kept the spirit of tMega City One intact while reinforcing the idea of a dystopian police state.

That said, I've always wondered what it would be like if that suit looked a little bit closer to the one that we see in the comics, and now, I have my answer. Today, Pop Culture Shock unveiled a new line of 1/4 scale statues inspired by the movie, including an exclusive variant that gives Dredd a slightly more comic booky color scheme --- and a much frownier head.

If you prefer your Dredd to be a little more movie-accurate, then don't fret. There are also two versions of Karl Urban's movie version as well, decked out in the darker colors that you know from the movie. There's the standard version that mirrors the pose seen on the film's poster, right down to the bullet-riddled ledge that he's standing on, as well as a variant that features an interchangeable arm and head --- the same frownier head that you get from the "Comics" version.
