There’s a long road between here and Marvel’s Netflix Defenders, let alone a third season of Daredevil, but one has to wonder how the Man Without Fear fares under a team dynamic. Even better, Charlie Cox teases that Matt Murdock will come out of The Defenders a changed man, picking up a few team lessons as he heads into Season 3.

Born on this day in 1956 in New York City, New York, John Romita Jr. is one of comics' most distinguished artists, whose multi-decade career has seen him take on many of the medium's most iconic properties, collaborate with many of the finest writers the industry has to offer, and lend his distinctive visual sensibility to a vast number of best-selling storylines. He's defined many of Marvel's best-known characters, and helped reinvent the DC Universe for a new generation of readers.
Marvel’s Luke Cage already looms over Harlem in the first Netflix poster, and our third Defender casts and even bigger shadow in the official trailer. After a Comic-Con sneak peek, watch Mike Colter take on Harlem as the hero-for-hire come to life! Did we mention the tiara?
If you've stuck it out with Marvel's mobile game Avengers Academy, you've likely been waiting very patiently for the promised story update that would bring new content, characters and areas of the map. As of today, those dreams have become reality, as it's confirmed that players will soon get access to The Incredible Hulk and the Gamma Zone.
In an interview today on Marvel.com, Avengers Academy's Allen Warner reveals that the latest update will bring The Hulk and --- rather surprisingly --- Tigra to the game, as well as unlocking the Gamma Zone area of the map that has been off-limits since the game's launch. The addition of The Hulk is especially exciting for this particular reporter, as he is voiced by my hero and idol, the one and only John Cena.
Did you know Charlie Cox had a shot at playing the young Han Solo? Unfortunately, Cox had gotten so good at playing blind as the title character of Netflix’s Daredevil that he stopped making eye contact with people. (Eye contact being low on the list of priorities for blind people.) And as a result, he blew his Han Solo audition. That’s just one of the facts packed into the latest episode of the ScreenCrush series You Think You Know TV?
More than just the teamup of Marvel’s four (five?) Netflix superheroes, The Defenders will represent a coming-together of all the major casts from those worlds. As such, you can definitely expect one of Daredevil’s biggest supporting players to put in an appearance, and Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson might not be too thrilled about it.
For as long and Marvel and Netflix have been putting out series, we’ve had to wonder about release strategy. Two per year has remained the norm; first Daredevil and Jessica Jones in 2015, then Daredevil Season 2 and Luke Cage in 2016, and with Marvel now confirming renewal for the former, as well a Punisher spinoff, it seems all else will wait until after The Defenders.
A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of superhero comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to settle the score and determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of favorite superheroes, and we need your help to do it!
You voted to see who Daredevil‘s ultimate arch-enemy was, and we’ve tabulated the results and assembled a video counting down the definitive top 10. Did your favorite make this list? There’s only one way to find out!
Marvel’s Netflix Daredevil first bucked our conceptions of the four Defenders series with a second season, so it’s only fitting ol’ Hornhead continue the trend at Comic-Con 2016. Even as Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders gear up for 2017, Marvel and Netflix confirm Daredevil Season 3 will arrive sometime thereafter.
In case you thought Luke Cage’s first official trailer, Iron Fist footage or Daredevil Season 3 news weren’t enough, prepare for The Defenders! Straight from Comic-Con 2016, the four Marvel Netflix heroes gather for a first teaser that confirms a familiar voice, and a Hand-y foe ahead.
