Bandai Reveals The Soul Of Chogokin Daizyuzin Figure
I am an adult, and that means that if I want to, I can spend a very large amount of money on a high-end metal action figure of Daizyuzin, the gestalt robot better known to American audiences as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord. Unfortunately, that also means that I have a lot of other things to spend money on --- like, say, food, or my home --- and today, that's something I need to remind myself of a lot. Because today, Bandai has released some high quality images of the next entry in the Soul of Chogokin line.

SH Figuarts' Stone Cold And The Rock Arrive Just In Time For Christmas
If you're even tangentially into anime or tokusatsu, then you're probably already familiar with SH Figuarts, the high-end line of action figures from Bandai and Tamashii Nations, but if you're not, let me tell you how much I love them. They've been around for a few years now, and with their dedication to high levels of articulation, screen-accurate sculpts and an incredible amount of interchangeable hands, faces, and accessories, they're arguably some of the best action figures you can get --- and since most of their output has to do with Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Sailor Moon, I'm always keeping an eye out for their next big release. And now, it looks like I've got to clear off another shelf. This December, as part of what I can only assume is a mission to target me, specifically, they're releasing the first two entries in a line based on late '90s WWE Superstars, starting with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock. And yes: Austin comes with a beadazzled skull vest and a couple of Stevewiesers.

Bluefin and Bandai Reveal Anime Expo Exclusives
This upcoming July 4 weekend, there'll be fireworks and hot dogs galore across America. And if you're in Los Angeles, you'll be seeing those amidst a sea of Hatsune Miku wigs and people blaring J-pop from their phones at Anime Expo. The largest anime con in America --- and easily one of the largest American cons period --- Anime Expo takes place from July 1-4 at the LA Convention Center. Like any good convention, there's a wealth of exclusives. Bluefin has announced its exclusives are Gundam model kits and products --- or "Gunpla" as some call it --- as well as two brand-new figurines of Super Saiyan Goku and Final Form Frieza.

Yes, dear friends, July has arrived, and we draw ever closer to the ultimate comic book convention in the US, and quite possibly the world, San Diego Comic-Con. While many will venture the halls in hopes of seeing the first footage from the current crop of highly-anticipated blockbuster features, or to catch a fleeting glimpse of the hottest stars appearing in iconic roles, the real challenge of SDCC is reserved for the collectors. Yes, once a year, nearly every major toy, statue, replica and plush manufacturer releases a limited edition piece that can only be found on the floor of the San Diego Convention Center. Devoted fans, aficionados and (unfortunately) re-sellers have been eagerly awaiting the chance to be one of the fortunate few who are able to obtain some of the rarest and most-coveted collectibles to release in a calendar year. Now, with just one week to go, we've gotten almost every last company to reveal its biggest secrets. Collected here for you is a comprehensive list of not just what will be available, but where it will be available, and how much it will cost you (should prices have been provided). This is every comic book toy and collectible exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con 2015.

Figuarts Hulkbuster Will Crush Your Dreams and Your Wallet
We've already seen the rest of Bandai's planned offerings from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the Hulkbuster was teased not that long ago. Now we've got our first official look at the magnificent beast, and it is glorious. And expensive. There are currently very few ways to get a standalone Hulkbuster action figure, and there are even fewer ways to get one at a reasonable price. While the price point on the upcoming SH Figuarts Hulkbuster is likely to turn many of you away, it is still quite a bit cheaper than the Hot Toys version. It'll also be just a tad bit more expensive than trying to hunt down all the figures in Hasbro's Hulkbuster BAF wave coming this summer.

Bandai's Sprukits Let You Build Batman In Your Own Home
When I was a kid, there was about a year where I got really into building models, mainly because I didn't have many friends and that was the easiest way that you could get a giant Darth Vader with a glow-in-the-dark lightsaber. It didn't last too long since the enjoyment that I got from putting things together moved back into LEGO sets, but it was enough that I get a little twinge of nostalgia from it -- especially when I see something like Bandai's new line of Sprükits Action Figure Model Kits. The deal with them is that they're not just models, they're kits for building fully poseable action figures with accessories that require no scissors, glue or paint. You just snap it all together, and judging by the Arkham City Batman figure that I just put together, they're actually pretty cool.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, but its Super Sentai source material from Japan is set to hit an even bigger milestone next year as Shotaro Ishinimori's Himitsu Sentai Gorenger turns 40. Fans won't have to wait to celebrate, however, as Bandia will release the series' uncommonly athletic leader Akarenger (Red Ranger) in S.H. Figuarts action figure form this September.
