FOX’s Gotham hasn’t put too much effort into protecting outdoor shoots of late, revealing Mr. Freeze’s final form within hours of the character’s first major trailer, and now it seems DC’s Azrael has arrived early as well. Not only do we have a full glimpse of the character’s impressive costume, but also some massive spoilers of the figure under the hood.

Gotham hasn’t been shy teasing both Mr. Freeze and Hugo Strange in advance of its 2016 return, and the latest trailer sees both in action. Not only that, but Edward Nygma may be setting his sights on Gordon, and Mr. Freeze may yet have some white in his future.

Early Gotham showings of a young Mr. Freeze brought understandably icy reception; certainly an upgrade for the FOX drama’s costume quotient, if perhaps not-all-there yet. Well, get ready for the full-blown Freeze, as new set photos reveal the chilling sound of Gotham’s doom, cold suit and all!

Whatever your feelings on FOX’s Gotham, we’re at least curious to see how the Bat-prequel handles two of the Dark Knight’s most iconic rogues, Mr. Freeze and Hugo Strange. We met the former briefly last year, and now his reign of icy terror continues in our first 2016 promo for Season 2’s return.

Gotham fans were certainly taken aback at series baddie Jada Pinkett Smith’s casual confirmation that Fish Mooney would be one-and-done after Season 1, though a return appearance always seemed in the cards. Fresh Fish is indeed on the menu, as Jada is confirmed to reprise her role for multiple Season 2 episodes.

Following months of rumors, 20th Century Fox surprised X-Men fans twice-over with the announcement of both FX’s Legion, and FOX’s Hellfire adaptation of the famously sinister club. We’ve seen Legion making progress, but Hellfire may have cooled, now that executive producers Evan Katz and Manny Coto have jumped ship to FOX’s 24: Legacy, among others.

There’s no grappling away from the fact FOX Bat-prequel Gotham isn’t every DC fan’s cup of tea, though we can at least credit them with a unique spin on Batman’s history. That spin … may have become a tailspin with Monday’s fall 2015 finale “Worse Than a Crime,” as Ben McKenzie’s Gordon seemingly broke the comic character’s morality for good, but we’ll let the showrunner and McKenzie himself explain.

Well, that didn’t take long. FOX’s Gotham will wrap up its 2015 run with tonight’s “Worse Than a Crime,” setting the stage for some serious Bat-baddies to make their debut next year, but why wait? Our first look at Mr. Freeze has already arrived, cold gun and all, because Gotham has zero chill.
