As Wonder Woman prepares to head into production this fall, we’re going to start hearing a whole lot more about DC and Warner Bros.’ first woman-fronted solo superhero effort, and the latest casting rumor is quite interesting. WB is reportedly eyeing Sean Bean and Eva Green (aka Green Bean — I just made that up) to play Wonder Woman’s antagonists in the film — yes, antagonists plural.

Just yesterday we got a new look at the Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and today brings even more official photos from Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero showdown. Among them you’ll find a furious Superman, a brooding Batman and a quite lovely Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman.

One of the most notable moments in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailers is the scene in which Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman zips across the screen before stopping in front of the camera, apparently in mid-battle. But who is she fighting, exactly? Is she caught up in a fight between Superman and Batman, or is she fighting her own battle? We may know the answer.

Warner Bros. definitely has a more prolonged shooting schedule than Marvel’s films, though with only Man of Steel to show for their efforts, it remains to be seen if this works in their favor. The studio has lined up schedules for two of their next superhero films, with Wonder Woman heading into production later this year and Justice League following early next year.

A while back we heard talk of Chris Pine potentially starring in Wonder Woman opposite Gal Gadot, but then we also heard some rumors about Pine potentially playing one of the leading superhero roles in Green Lantern Corps — that seemed to confirm that Pine was in talks to star in something for Warner Bros. and DC, and now it’s been made official. Pine will play Diana Prince’s love interest in Wonder Woman.

Last week we got an extended sneak peek at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice via the Comic-Con trailer, but that won’t be the trailer you see in theaters — IMAX theaters, to be more specific. A new, alternate version of the trailer has dropped online, so if you don’t make it out to your local IMAX theater in the next couple of weeks, you can watch it right here.
