This is an old story that just came to our attention over the weekend thanks to a retweet from musician Frank Ocean, who rightly observed that the image deserves "endless retweets." Last October, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh worked with Allegheny Window Cleaning Inc. to give the facility's young patients a special Halloween treat. Kids woke up to find characters like Superman, Spider-Man, Batman and Captain America washing their windows.

Check out some video below. In a piece whose "Fighting Grime" headline I'm extremely jealous of, Adam Smeltz of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review said that Allegheny boss Edward Matuizek was initially hesitant when his wife suggested the idea, but that the hospital helped persuade him by providing the costumes. The kids and the window cleaners enjoyed it so much, the firm is keen to make it an annual event.
