Following the release of a roughly 3-minute short last week, director Derek Kwok and Henri Wong of Parabucks Co. have released their full stop-motion animated Batman: Dark Knightfall short, successfully wrapping the tale of Hot Toys' 1/6 scale The Dark Knight Rises Batman fighting the Joker's thugs, a bizarre morping version of the Clown Prince of Crime himself and the big bad Bane. It's... kind of difficult to describe the plot of the short beyond that. In may ways it's akin to the awesome Batman action figure commercials of the '80s and '90s - minus, of course, a vehicle driving through a tower of translucent cubes and shooting a missile at bad dude and making them fall into a vat of ooze or whatever. Basically it's just awesome toys doing awesome things until something truly surreal and wonderful goes down. I won't spoilt the end for you, but there's definitely a reason "Knightfall" is in the title. Check out the full Batman: Dark Knightfall short after the cut.
