Hot Toys Reveals ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Cap And Steve Rogers Figures
With just a day left before Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theaters on April 4, Hot Toys has revealed two more 1/6 scale collectible figures from the film. Coming later this year is an individual figure of Cap in his new Stealth S.T.R.I.K.E. Suit, plus a Captain America & Steve Rogers Collectible Figures Set that pairs the S.T.R.I.K.E. Suited Cap with a Steve Rogers figure.
These new Steve Rogers toys will follow the previously-announced Black Widow, Golden Age Cap and Winter Soldier 1/6 scale figures from HT in the third or fourth quarter of 2014.
Solo Stealth S.T.R.I.K.E. Suit Cap will come with nine swappable gloved hands, a metal shield, half a handcuff and a display stand. The Cap & Steve set will come with all of that plus eight ungloved Steve Rogers hands, a removable Cap helmet, a Steve stand, and a distressed metal shield (with its normal red, white and blue paint worn down). That's right, the set is that it will come with two full shields, so the Cap and civilian Steve figures won't be forced to share when it comes time to display them.
S.T.R.I.K.E. Suit Cap is going for $219.99 through Sideshow, with the Cap and Steve set retailing for $339.99. Considering the set packs two figures, it seems like a pretty good value.
