Watch Grumpy Superman Yell At The TV In The New Clip From ‘Justice League: Gods And Monsters’

We're getting ever closer to the premiere of the new Justice League: Gods and Monsters animated movie at this year's San Diego Comic-Con --- and its release on video shortly thereafter --- and I'm not sure that I've ever seen Warner Bros. go as hard at promoting one of their DTV releases as they are with this one. And it makes sense that they would, too; as the product of legendary animator Bruce Timm, who co-wrote the story with Alan Burnett and provided new designs for all the characters, Gods and Monsters is definitely something for fans to be interested in.

Illustrator Ryan Lang Makes His Comics Debut in ‘Legends Of The Guard’

Earlier this week we ran an exclusive preview of Legends of the Guard #4, the final installment of the latest collection of short stories told by amazing creators in the world of David Petersen's Mouse Guard. One of the standouts among the many stories told through the three volumes of the anthology is Ryan Lang's "The Watcher's Stone," a moving and inventive ten-page story.

Lang is completely new to comics, but he's an accomplished freelance illustrator and animator whose credits include work on last year's Disney animated movie Big Hero 6. ComicsAlliance spoke briefly to Lang about his artistic process and how he came to Legends of the Guard.

Bruce Timm Launches ‘Justice League: Gods And Monsters Chronicles’ Animated Series On Machinima

Warner Bros. has been steadily producing a whole lot of direct-to-video animated movies about DC Comics over the past few years, and while a lot of them have been adaptations of existing stories, there are a few original storylines mixed in there as well. The latest project, Justice League: Gods and Monsters is one of those, and it's got something that should make even the most jaded viewer a little interested: Bruce Timm, the animator best known for being one of the creators of Batman: The Animated Series.

Now, we're getting a look at what we can expect in the movie courtesy of Machinima's Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles, a web series coming out in advance of the movie that's set to reveal the project's much darker version of the Justice League.

Capcom Announces A New ‘Mega Man’ Animated Series From Man Of Action

Mega Man art from Archie Comics

It really seems like Capcom's Mega Man should've been a cartoon for the past thirty years, right? Not only are the games themselves popular, but the idea of a friendly, big-eyed robot with interchangeable weapons taken from equally cartoony enemies is one of the most toyetic concepts that has ever existed, and that's before you get to the cute dog that transforms into a jet-powered hoverboard. And yet, with the exception of a short-lived syndicated cartoon in 1994 --- and a couple of strange videos promoting Japanese tourism --- the Blue Bomber has been absent from the small screen for a long, long time.

Now, that's going to be remedied: Capcom and Dentsu, a Japanese advertising agency and animation producer, are teaming up with the Man of Action Entertainment to create a new animated series set for a 26-episode run.
