DC Collectibles Releases for August 2015 [Solicitations]

Courtesy of DC Comics, ComicsAlliance brings you an advance look at new figures, statues and replicas going on sale in August 2015 (and in some cases beyond) from the publisher’s DC Collectibles line.

Sadly, it appears that the Batman: The Animated Series line of figures continues to face shipping issues, as the next two waves have been pushed to September and October, respectively. Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Robin were originally slated to arrive this June, with Batman, Riddler, Penguin and Batgirl dropping in July. What that means for the previously scheduled October wave of Bane, Mad Hatter, Scarecrow and the Batmobile remains to be seen. Hopefully this is just a shipping issue and not another quality assurance problem.

A full-color version of the Batgirl of Burnside is on the way this fall, too. It'll come in at just a bit over a foot tall, which makes it a larger statue than the Black & White iteration dropping in a few months. That also probably accounts for the increase in price from the B&W version. More importantly however, Dex-Starr and Streaky Super-Pet plushes are finally on the way. These adorable little buggers were a surprise to see at Toy Fair earlier in the year, and will fit right at home in the nursery or on your shelf.

There are plenty of excellent comics on the way this August to get you hyped up for the summer. All of the following books can be purchased at finer comic book shops, where you can also pre-order your selections to ensure you’ll get a copy before they sell out.
