Avengers: Age of Ultron

Have you had your fill of Avengers: Age of Ultron collectibles yet? No? Good, because Hot Toys has even more coming to satisfy your chibi-loving needs. The new Avengers: Age of Ultron Cosbaby figures will cute-ify the action heroes and big, bad villains of the upcoming movie, but even the anime influence can't make Ultron adorable. It's unpossible.

Folks, if you're like me, you've been waiting for the day you can finally go down to the store and bring home your very own Hulkbuster. That day may be arriving sooner than you think. Though there are going to be plenty of smaller, less imposing Hulkbusters made available through various manufacturers, only one will be up to snuff in busting actual Hulks.

This week sees the release of new Lego Marvel Super Hero sets tying into Avengers: Age of Ultron. While we're still waiting for the SHIELD Helicarrier to arrive, the series did drop a quinjet, a Hulkbuster, and a mini-Avengers Tower, among others, onto store shelves. Having been out of the Lego game for almost two decades, these were the sets that were going to bring me back into the fold. It was mighty hard to resist the quinjet set, but if there's one thing my house is missing, and that I could no longer live without, it's an Avengers Tower.

If you’re a Marvel fan and preparing for Avengers: Age of Ultron, chances are you’re thinking now is a good time to start revisiting the MCU movies — in order, obviously — before May 1. AMC and Regal are here to help you out with that with their massive Marvel movie marathon, all leading up to the premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Here’s the thing, though: you’ll be watching every one of these movies in one sitting, so you should probably bring one of those donut-shaped butt pillows.

This morning, Hot Toys formally unveiled the Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man Hulkbuster sixth-scale figure. As arguably the most anticipated collectible from the series, fans had been salivating and speculating for months about what to expect. Judging from the announcement, those expectations will be met, and then some.

We're on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron, inside the new Avengers Tower; formerly Stark Tower and now converted to a de facto headquarters for the Earth’s mightiest heroes. It’s all very sleek and shiny and pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a place Tony Stark calls home. Except now, it's a complete disaster. There's broken glass scattered across the floor. Furniture is destroyed. There are giant gashes in the wall. There's a production assistant dramatically swinging a giant cape around (the actors film their fight scenes without the cape, and the cape is added later in post-production).

You didn't think Hot Toys was going to keep its biggest weapon on the bench forever, did you? Yes, that's right; Hot Toys has finally added a Hulk to the growing roster of upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron figures.

You can't go to a retailer these days without running across at least one of the many different toy lines Hasbro's released based on Marvel's various characters and properties. We're not complaining. If anything, we want more. Lucky for us, Hasbro's Toy Fair 2015 offerings had just what we were looking for--more Avengers, more Legends, and most of all, more Misty Knight.

Ever since the announcement of Captain America: Civil War, we’ve been curious about how the Russo brothers will begin to adapt Marvel’s Civil War comic book story line for the big screen, kicking off a major new arc in the MCU (and one that sees Spider-Man swinging in with a crossover). According to Robert Downey Jr., the seeds for Civil War have already been planted in Avengers: Age of Ultron, once again proving just how much planning and foresight goes into the creation of the MCU.
